Each animal has a weakness to a certain kind of attack. Sheep are somewhat immune to impact damage, but you can kill one with a piercing weapon very easily. Boars are good against piercing, and impact damage can kill them easily. For info on what each kind of animal is weak against, refer to Hunting Tips .

Below is info on what kind of damage each weapon does, and tells how much damage each weapon does.

Notes
Impact Damage - Works well against animals that are leather covered, as in boars, deer, etc. Doesn't work well against wooly animals.

Piercing Damage - Works well against all animals.

Cutting Damage - Works well against...everything I guess. Doesn't work well against leather covered animals.
