The hospital which I've been working in is Sichuan Cancer Hospital,a garden-style hospital in which woods,flowers and
grass growing well make its enviroment rather peaceful and beautiful all the year round.With an another name of The Second People's Hospital of Sichuan Province, it's located in Chengdu which is the capital of Sichuan province, the political, economical
and cultural centers in the southwest China and well known for its long history as well as being the hometown of the giant pandas.It adjoins the Chengdu South Railway Station which is the largest railway pivot to be constructed in southwest China.The hospital has elegant surroundings and convenient traffic with the city's south and north highway leading right into it thus has a great potential for future development. In 1994, the hospital passed strict assessment and was ratified the Grde 3 Class A hospital which is the highest hospital position in our country at present. Through many years' development, now taking up 97807 square meters of land and 69229 square meters construction area, having 850 staff members and with 650 beds, the hospital has become the largest cancer prevention and treatment center with the most up-to-date equipment and the richest technique resources among the five southwest China provinces.Upon this basis, it has also developed comprehensive medical services and become a large scale multidisciplined hospital with oncology as mainstay speciality. It has standard layout and advanced design, with all the necessary specialized facilities and talented staffs.It has a lot of equipments and devices such as the CT,SPECT,DSA system,X knife,Ultrasound hyperthermia unit,color Doppler ultrasound scan, serial fiberscope, aneasthstic and ICU devices,test and analysis instruments,and so on.The overall medical techneque level of the hospital has reached the advanced level in China.
