How is born my passion ?

I do drawings and paintings from the age of 13, more then 20 years ago. In the first times I was painting on any material I found. Everything, every object gives me great chances to be creative, adorning it, personalizing it, making it unique and giving it the imprint of my own character.

This idea has driven me to paint on silk and fabric, in order to invent a simple and unique way to dress great part of what I produce are quite simple things.
I started painting T-shirts and dishtowels. But the simplicity is only apparent. Painting is not an easy job and the result will be always unique. Even if I would repeat the same subject, using the same colors, many factors, like for example my mood or the weather conditions or the type of the materials, will contribute to create a different result.

Also now I enjoy to create simple but well done objects. Even if they are not formal or showy, being suitable for the everyday life, they are always noted for their elegance and uniqueness.

At left, datail of an umbrella in cotton and wood. The drawing is done by hand and the colors are fixed so they can stand sun and rain.

produces umbrellas in silk or cotton also with custom subject.
For example a bride can have an umbrella that machs the flowers of the bouquet.

At right, detail of a silk scarf Habotai 10 approx cm 180x45. The making of it has requsted many days of work and the use of 3 different techniques. The idea was to melt the subject and the background togheder giving a feel of insubstantiality and lightness.

An important part of my work is devoted to the research of new techniques and metchings.

As part of this attempt I also produce works that have a more deep symbolic nature. The idea is to depict the complexity of nature reaching even abstract effects.
