"This is a dream come true for me to be named the head football coach at the University of Central Florida," said Cole. "I'm excited about the opportunity we have to lead our program to new heights. It's a great honor and responsibility to lead this program. I look forward to the challenge up living up to my predecessors here. I hope to keep our excellent coaching staff together here, and to retain coach Mike Kruczek's services as assistant head coach. Watch out MAC."

Though Kin Cole has never held a head coaching job at any level, he has proven to the University that he is an excellent strategist both offensively and defensively and that he has the leadership skills necessary to lead this program.
