Wow, I found a good-looking actor who's built enough to be a convincing Perrin. His hair's not curly, but he looks pretty dang good with a goatee. If he weren't way too old for the part, I'd be tempted to make him my first choice just out of relief that there's someone out there who's built like a blacksmith. He would be so great for Perrin if only he was more of a physical match. I was in the middle of re-reading Crossroads of Twilight when I saw the second picture there (which is from King Arthur) and it struck me that it could have been from a scene lifted right from the book. Well, I think he looks more like Mat, but he is also more muscular then I envision Mat to be, so maybe he'd be a good Perrin, too. He does have a look to his face that can be seen in one of two ways: that he's always thinking about something or that he's, um, thinking a little too slowly. From what we know, that might be the kind of look Perrin would have on his face. Josh Hartnett Height: 6'3" Hair: brown Eyes: brown DoB: 7/21/78	Y'know, it's such a shame that Heath Ledger 1) is too tall to be Perrin, 2) would probably make a good Rand, and 3) is unbelievably scrawny (by this I mean that you'd think he was a lot more muscular from looking at him), because I think he's the one young actor out there today who really looks anything like Perrin. I think it's the jawline; I thought the poster for A Knight's Tale really makes him look like Perrin. He even has naturally curly hair and doesn't look half bad with a beard. Well, he's got the the height, at least. And some wavy hair. Other than that...well, we're left with the main problem and that's Perrin's muscles. If I ignore that detail, then I think I may be able to see him as Perrin. Gee, did I predict it, or what? Anyway... he doesn't have the wide shoulders Perrin has, but he does have curly hair, and he does look reasonably good with a beard.
