This may seem like an odd choice, as Miss Alba is known more as a sexy woman. However, she looks very similar to my image of Egwene, evident more in her older pictures, or when she's looking more "girl-next-door" and not so sultry. Too bad her height prevents her from being a "real" candidate. I think if you could combine her features with those of Natalie Portman, the result would be a great physical match for Egwene. |

Definitely the popular choice for Egwene. She is a natural, classic beauty, suitable for Egwene, and also happens to be the right height. In terms of pure physical characteristics, including height, she would be my first choice. Honestly, though, I don't think I can actually see her as Egwene. I think it might be partially due to her rather bland performances in recent years. |

It's "Natalie Portman's twin." Quickly making her own name for herself, this talented actress shares the same classic beauty that would make her a good choice for Egwene. Unfortunately, she's also got a lot more height to her, making her way too tall for the part. Darn. |

Kristin Kreuk can be frighteningly pretty, and she's got that really sweet, girl-next-door look that I think a lot of people see for Egwene. I can understand why people would want to cast her as Egwene. However, what makes me uncertain is that she's hapa and Egwene is not. If people think she can pass for Two Rivers girl, then I'm totally for having her as Egwene. Though...I think it'd be a shame to have to use contacts to make her eyes brown, as they're gorgeous. |

I think she definitely has the acting ability, and she has some of the looks I associate with Egwene - a fresh, innocent sort of beauty. However, besides being too tall, there's just something about her looks that doesn't quite seem like Egwene. Overall, though, I don't think she'd be a terrible pick. I had thoughts of adding her to the Egwene list, but the suggestion by Haley pushed me to do it. |

I wonder if she's still as popular in people's minds as she was back when Dawson's Creek was still on air. Anyway, she never struck me as a very good match. She's best described as "cute" as opposed to "beautiful" and she doesn't really have that regal poise that Egwene eventually ends up with. |

Katelyn Rosaasen used to look a lot like my mental image of Egwene, but not really any more. In some pictures, she does, but most of the time, due to her stick-thin-ness, she looks like an Egwene starved for several months. Her features are too sharp and angular. While she's very pretty, I think she'd be prettier if she gained 10 pounds or so. |

Shiri Appleby seems so sweet. She has that innocent beauty that makes me think of Egwene. However, she doesn't look like Egwene to me, and is pretty rather than beautiful. There's also an exoticness to her features that doesn't quite match. |

There was a time I pondered Anna Paquin as a possible Egwene, but I don't think she'd be the best choice. She has that charming "girl-next-door" look that makes one want to cast her as the girl from the Two Rivers, but she's far from beautiful, as Egwene is supposed to be. |
