Introduction

This Web site exists for one purpose: to provide a complete resource for writers and fans of Enterprise, the latest chapter in the Star Trek saga.

The encyclopedia section is essentially based on Michael and Denise Okuda's Star Trek Encyclopedia.  It is divided by letter for quicker page loading.  The encyclopedia includes every person, place, or thing mentioned in Enterprise, from the important to the trivial.  All entries are fully linked, so if a specific term  interests you, click on it to be taken to that term's entry in the encyclopedia.  Because there are hundreds of links on every page -- and typically several in every entry -- the links are not underlined by default, nor do they appear in a special color.  However, when the mouse is over a link, an underline will appear.  Readability is greatly improved, but the links are not quite as obvious, so look around.  This is true of all of the pages.

The chronology section follows the basic format of the Okudas' Star Trek Chronology, though in general there is more data provided, since this Web site concerns a single series.  On the other hand, Enterprise does not exist in a vacuum, and for a prequel series continuity is especially important.  Where appropriate, I have referenced episodes and films from other Star Trek series.  I have limited these references to background information about people, places, things, and events mentioned in Enterprise.

The appendices are quick-and-dirty lists of various types of data.  There is a crew manifest, listing every established crew member aboard Enterprise.  There are three topic appendices, similar to the tables in the Star Trek Encyclopedia, providing locations, organisms, and vehicles.  It goes without saying that all of these appendices have each item linked to the appropriate encyclopedia entry, if more information is desired.

Finally, I have several items of miscellany.  There is an episode guide, with brief synopses and reviews, plus links to several of the prominent reviewers on the Web.  I provide a number of essays on topics related to Enterprise or Star Trek in general.  The links page gives a summary of Enterprise and Star Trek sites of note, but it is not intended to be exhaustive.

I hope that you find this Web site useful, but above all, I hope that you enjoy your visit!

Updates

November 1, 2001.  Information from "The Andorian Incident" (ENT) is being added, including the episode review.

October 24, 2001.  There have been a number of updates in the last few weeks, but I'm afraid I was lazy and didn't note them here.  The N and U pages are uploaded, there are several additions to the chronology, and tidbits of information have been added from episodes.  Hopefully my schedule will clear up a bit in the near future and we'll see some more significant updates... I, for one, am getting sick of missing encyclopedia and episode guide pages.

October 12, 2001.  The K page is uploaded.  I apologize for the slow pace that updates are coming at, but I sincerely hope to speed things up in the near future.  Information from "Fight or Flight" (ENT) and "Strange New World" (ENT) is being added.
