Annual Evening Dinner Meeting
Our annual dinner meeting will be on February 7th at 7 PM. Spouses and potential members are invited to attend. This will take the place of our morning meeting and will be held at the same restaurant, Mi Pueblito.

We will have a delicious Mexican buffet, which includes; Pollo Asado, grilled chicken, with onions and bell peppers. Chile Verde, chunks of pork in a special homemade sauce. Bistek a la Mexicana, steak sautéed with tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. We will also have salad, rice, beans, and dessert. The meal will include choice of wine, coffee, tea or soft drinks. All of this for $16.00, which includes tax and tip!

The evening will be complete with a new member induction and entertainment. We will also be celebrating the success of our membership contest and will include a surprise for our winning teams!

Please bring your check to the meeting on Thursday, January 3rd to reserve your place(s) at our Mexican Fun Fiesta.

Don't miss this annual fun evening, your one time in the year you can stay in bed and not miss the meeting!!!

Student Speaker Contest
The student speaker contest will be held at the Fremont Main Library on February 19th at 7:00pm. Please come and support the speakers.

Pancake Breakfast
Mark your calendar for April 21st as the tentative date for the Pancake Breakfast this year. As with last year, we have an incentive to the Lion that sells the most tickets, the club picks up your dues for a year. Lion Gene Anderson won last year.

Mission Leos Report
This year the Mission Leos club participated again in the Toys for Tots program. They delivered 49 gifts all wrapped to two needy preschool classes. In fact, the Leo President, a nice young lady named Nicole Saka, came as Santa Claus. The Leos club paid for the gifts (around $500).
