Membership Contest
We have two more meetings in December and our contest will come to a
close.
Have you called one of our Non Active Lions to invite him/her to the
next meeting? How about treating him/her to breakfast or offer a ride
to
the meeting. Let them know all the fun and camaraderie they are
missing,
as well as the good programs we have at each meeting. How about that
potential Lion you have been thinking about? Now is the time to invite
him/her to the next meeting. You can also ask the potential Lion and
spouse to be our guest at our Annual Progressive Christmas Party to
see
us in action, enjoying each others company!
We have inducted one new Lion since our contest started and the Board
approved membership applications on three more Lions To Be! We have
several winning teams but a couple of teams need some help! Let's all
pitch in and do our part to make our club even greater than it already
is.

Entertainment Books
We are down to only 5 East Bay Entertainment Books. They make a great gift at only $30. Contact Lion Cathy Hudson at 510-792-9511.
Memorial Service
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 30th for a former
member of our club. Lion Bill Fuller was a member until he moved to Livermore
several years ago. He was president of our club in 1989-1990. He was
very active on the district level and was named Lion of the Year for
District 4C3 in 1984-1985. Many Lions attended the service including
Lions Mataras, Thurgate, Juarez, Vernon, and Shannon from our club.
