That is right we have moved. Same Lucia's Restaurant, same cook, same waiter, same service... The new restaurant is the old Daily's Restaurant 5045 Mowery Ave (& Blacow Rd).

Newark Days
The Newark Days is coming up this month. September 21st, 22nd, & 23rd. We need volunteers to work the Linguica booth. Please contact Lion John Weeks at j_weeks@pacbell.net or at 510-793-1049, if you have not already signed up to help. This event last longer that Fremont Festival of the Arts, so please volunteer your time.

Newark Day Parade
On Saturday September 22nd is the Newark Days Parade. We have a float, a miniature dune buggy, a miniature powered Model A truck, and a Lion's suit. What we need is people... Please contact Lion Mike Hale (510-494-0706) if you would like to decorate Friday night (Sept 21) 6-9pm or be in the Parade Saturday morning (8-11am).

Constitution and By-Laws
A big thank you for all those that made it to the August Meetings to vote for our Constitution and By-Laws. We need 50% of the membership in a live vote, no proxies. Dawn Breakers Lions' now have our very own official Constitution and By-Laws documents. A big thanks goes to Past President Lion John Weeks for pushing the issue. And all those who spent evening together reading through the International Constitution and By-Laws, and making the appropiate changes for us.

Dawn Breakers' new pin
Lion Larry Hammon has worked very hard to get us a new pin design. Please show your support and put in an pin order. Pins run $2.50 each for orders of 5 and less. Dawn Breakers' Scrapbook
Julie Hale (the better half of Lion Mike) has volunteer to help put a scrapbook together for the club. Please send any pictures, letters, or flyers on lion events home with Lion Mike. Or mail them to 35843 Salvador Ct, Fremont, CA 94536.

Dawn Breakers' new badges
Lion Cathy Hudson is looking into new badges for members who want them. The new badges look nice, are a little smaller than the old kind, and have a magnet backing so you are not bunching holes in your clothing. The badges are estimated to cost around $6.
