Dance the evening away with D.J. Steve !! Ticket Donations: $20.00. Advance sales only. Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door. 8th Annual Bowl-a-thon
The Dawn Breakers Annual Bowl a thon is scheduled for March 10th. This is an opportunity for us to raise some funds and have fun at the same time. The event will be at Mowry Lanes at 1:00 p.m. Many prizes will be awarded
Each member is asked to get friends to sponsor them for one cent or more per pin. Since most of us are not professional bowlers (far from it), a one cent donation will total no more than five dollars.
Each bowler will bowl three games. Your cost for bowling will be $6.50. Your total score will be used to determine the donation.
You do not have to be a bowler to participate. We can even use the gutter bumpers if you bring kids to bowl. Each year some Lions bring their children. It gives them an excuse to use the bumpers. Bring a group of friends and have them fill in their own sponsor sheet.
If you really can not bowl at all, please fill in the sponsor sheets anyway. We will turn your sponsor list over to one of the bowlers. We will have more sign up sheets at the meeting this Thursday.
Please help us by bowling, getting sponsors, and by donating any prizes you can find for the event.
Remember, this is for fun. We definitely do not get serious about our scores.

CHRISTMAS IN APRIL - TRI CITIES VOLUNTEER PROJECT
We will have a speaker at a meeting in the near future to explain how we can help this worthwhile volunteer event. This "hands on" project will occur on April 28th this year to benefit those in our community that are unable to care for their homes or yards in the Tri Cities area. Applicants are well screened to prove there inability to financially or physically repair or clean up their living facilities.
Projects of this type create great camaraderie among club members and the rewards are many !!! Save the date - details - soon to follow! Questions ? Lion Ed Shannon 651-6786
